Terms of Service

Welcome to The Motion Century. These Terms of Service govern your use of our premium marketplace for Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro plugins, scripts, and digital assets. By accessing our platform, you agree to these terms.

1. Introduction & Acceptance

The Motion Century ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates a high-end digital marketplace ("The Digital Atelier") offering curated motion design tools. By creating an account or purchasing any digital asset, you enter into a binding legal agreement.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the platform.

2. Single-Seat License Agreement

All digital products available on The Motion Century are sold under a strict "One-Time Payment, Single-Seat License" model, unless explicitly stated otherwise on the product page. This means:

  • check_circleOne User: The license is granted to one (1) specific individual user. It cannot be shared across a team or agency without purchasing additional seats.
  • check_circleUnlimited Projects: You may use the licensed asset in an unlimited number of personal or commercial projects.
  • cancelNo Resale: You are strictly prohibited from reselling, redistributing, or sub-licensing the raw plugin or asset files.

3. Payments & One-Time Purchases

All transactions are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your full credit card information on our servers.

Delivery

Upon successful payment, digital assets are immediately available for download in your Account Dashboard.

We pride ourselves on avoiding subscription fatigue. The price you see is a one-time payment for the current major version of the software. Minor updates (e.g., v1.1 to v1.2) are provided free of charge.

4. User Conduct & Atelier Etiquette

As a member of The Digital Atelier, you are expected to maintain a professional standard of conduct. You agree NOT to:

  1. Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or bypass licensing checks on any purchased plugin.
  2. Share license keys or download links on public forums, torrent sites, or peer-to-peer networks.
  3. Use the platform to distribute malicious code, spyware, or unauthorized scraping tools.
  4. Harass or abuse plugin creators in support channels or community forums.

5. Intellectual Property

The Motion Century platform (including its design system, "Soft Minimalism" aesthetic, and structural code) is owned by us. The individual plugins and assets remain the intellectual property of their respective creators. Purchasing an asset grants you a license to use it, not ownership of the underlying intellectual property.

6. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE Motion Century, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR CREATORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES...
